Are any of you familiar with the Humpty Dumpty brand? We didn't have them in Chicago so I was not. Here's a photo of a vintage can:
I assume these cards were found in bags of potato chips back in 1992. Don't be fooled by my scans. These cards measure a wee 1-1/2 x 2 inches. As you can see there were two series. Two of each are represented here.
Awesome cards...and yes, I am familiar with Humpty Dumpty chips. They originated up around my neck of the woods.
ReplyDeleteI figured since I also saw a commercial for clam dip flavored chips. Definitely not something you'd find in the Midwest. ;)
DeleteThat mascot is a tad bit creepy looking if you ask me!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree.
DeleteNever tried the chips... but I own one of their 1993 Rickey Hendersons still sealed in the same kind of wrapper as these hockey cards.
ReplyDeleteHad no idea the brand existed. They had baseball cards too, huh? Live and learn.
DeleteHere's the Rickey...

I must have been absent that day. Thanks for sharing your card.
