An Ugly Hockey Card

Peter at Baseball Every Night is holding an "Ugly Sweater" Ugly Baseball Card Contest.

This 1969-70 Topps Hockey card was the first I thought of.  Topps put out a bunch of really bad hockey cards during this era.  Remember the ones where the photos were taken in like a back hallway?  Sorry Mr. Goyette.  It wasn't your fault.

  1. Thank you for entering the contest. You know, he's got lovely blue eyes. Is that a hockey stick or a shoe horn???

  3. Looks like my high school trig teacher. The guy was an ex-marine and one scary dude.

  4. Maybe it's just me, but this seems like the least "ugly" card so far... still fun to see though!

  7. Great post. Articles that have meaningful and insightful comments are more enjoyable, at least to me. It’s interesting to read what other people thought and how it relates to them or their clients, as their perspective could possibly help you in the future.
