Machine Gun Kelly

One of many of my Ron Santo auto cards.  I'm not a sticker fan but this card looks good anyways.  Fortunately for me a majority of Ron's autographs are hard signed.

Here's another Chicago legend, Dan Hampton.  Boy did Danimal and the boys have fun in 1985.  This is a nice "art" card.

Which poor batter are they talking about blowing away this time.  Look at The Big Unit's stats mid-career.  Fear the mullet!

I've Joined the Club --Stadium-wise Pack 1

I've been avoiding looking too closely at everyone else's SC posts in anticipation of getting my box (sorry) so I'm not sure how good a pack this first one is.  It does have three Hall of Famers, two current and one future.  It also has 2014's Mr. October, one "Mad Bum".  I apologize to his fans but I'm not sure where Curtis Granderson stands these days.  From what I gather he is a really good guy.  I like that and it is a low SN'd card.  OK, the name of this blog isn't "Can't Have Too Many Words"  Here's Pack 1:

Card of the Day

This Griffey must have been in a box lot I got about a year ago.  It has an awesome image, presumably of one of Junior's 630 home runs.  (Of course it could be he's watching one go foul.)  The things about this card you really don't get from the scan is that it's about three cards thick and has a surface almost like glass.

Autographed Cards A-Z

When I got back into collecting five or so years ago one of the things that excited me was the availability of autographed cards.  Perhaps I went a little overboard but I think I picked up some nice cards.  This will be an A-Z series of posts with varying numbers of cards.

This is a great on card set and it's nice to have some of the 2nd tier guys.  Bobby was a six time all-star and just missed appearing in the World Series a number of times.

2003 Topps Archives Fan Favorites #FFA-BGR

It's nice to have a father and son combo here but more importantly Griffey Sr. was a member of The Big Red Machine.

2005 UD Past Time Pennants #KG

Is there anything wrong with this card?  No.

2005 UD Signature Decades #SD-KG

The only thing hurting this soon to be dual HOFer card is that the signatures are on stickers.
