Garage Sale Packs #10

I short while back I bought a bunch of 20-25 card packs (sealed ziplocks) at the local garage sale.  Each one was just 25 cents and I could see two cards.  I've been opening them one at a time and posting my favorites here.  I realize that I'm not going to get any "mojo hits" but so far I've had a lot of fun with them.

Pack ten had 24 cards --11 baseball, 10 football and 2 basketball and 1 hockey.

This card from 2000 is shinier than it looks here and has varying textures as well.

1999 Insert

Junk wax stars

Hall of Famer Rod Woodson
Interesting back
It's 1991 but it's Joe Montana so it's pretty good.
Third Hall of Famer in this 25 cent pack.

It's "The Bus", Gus.

Rod was a member of the great DePaul teams under coach Ray Meyer in the 1980's.  The 90's sure had a lot of lightning.
According to Wikipedia Casey is more well known for two shots that he didn't stop than for the ones he did.

Songs for A Sunday Night

"To our Fans and Friends: As R.E.M., and as lifelong friends and co-conspirators, we have decided to call it a day as a band. We walk away with a great sense of gratitude, of finality, and of astonishment at all we have accomplished. To anyone who ever felt touched by our music, our deepest thanks for listening." Fan Pack Fun 2011 -- Milwaukee Brewers

In honor of their clinching the Central Division title here's the fan pack I received form the Milwaukee Brewers this Spring.

This is a folder.
Can't have too much Ryan Braun.

Hard to tell from the scan but this is a mouse pad.  Diet Pepsi is my soda of choice by the way but I'm as far from being a vegetarian as anyone you'll ever know.

DVD.  I really should pop this in the computer.  I never got around to doing it last year.  I guess it's the same one.
Ryan Braun lugguage tag.

Milwaukee Mardi Gras beads. For the ladies?  Tacky ladies?  Personally I'd rather have the logo as a keyring.
Random three card pack.

From the Vault -- Pictures from Wrigley 11 -- Hollywood All-Stars 2

I have a bunch of pictures from a meeting between the Hollywood Allstars and a group of Cubs oldtimers.  I think they played before the Cubs-Dodgers game on May 29, 1982.

So far in these last two posts we've seen glimpses of three pitchers that have thrown no-hitters for the Cubs.  Can you name them all?  Here's the first post.
