Happy Birthday, Jim Thorpe

Certainly one of the greatest all-around athletes of the 20th century, Jim Thorpe was born on this day in 1887 (some say 1888).

These are part of my growing First Day Cover collection.

    Most of the cards I've seen of Thorpe uses the image on those 1984 stamps. It's nice to see some cards with different images.

      There's another card I think I have, from the 1991 Impel Olympics set but in my mess of an office/card room I couldn't find it.
