Issued by John Player and Sons in 1929 these eleven cards were part of a series of twenty-five. I thought it would be fun to see if I could find a photograph to go with each one.
Cool set and awesome being able to find modern pics of the bridges. It is always fun to see modern comparison photos from an older series of pictures. I have a book on Gettysburg that does that, the author/photographer studied the Famous Matthew Brady pictures and then sought out the locations as the look now (well when the book was published about 15 years ago).
Awesome set. It's a shame that great non-sports cards like this aren't made these days.
