I recently had 8 months worth of Check Out My Cards purchases shipped. I divided the 153 cards into 35 groups. I like to think of these as hand picked "packs". I'm posting them in random order. "Pack" #15, 4 cards, was
$2.99 including shipping.
This pack consists of four 1966 Topps Batman cards. I'm not sure if I had these exact cards or this series but I know I had some Batman cards back when I was in the first grade ."Tune in tomorrow -- same Bat-Time, Same Bat Channel!"
Holy Topps Baseball 1969 Batman, the back of those cards looks familiar!
ReplyDelete...and man, you're old! I was only in kindergarten in 1966 ;)
I hadn't thought about that but you're right, youngster.
DeleteMy brother and I had a ton of these cards back in 1966, also the Batman cards with live-action scenes from the 1966 movie.
ReplyDeleteThe next year (1967) we started collecting baseball cards, and I never went back to non-sports cards (well, except for the early-1990s Beatles cards).
I came across some original (Black Bat)Batman 1966 trading cards, in very good condition. I've read some of the articles and its caught my interest on getting some opinions. I have numbers 1,3,4,(2)5,10,11,12,(2)13,15,16,17,18,24,25,28,29,37,(2)41,43,(2)44,(2)47, and (2)51. Interested in selling them. Email is lyfejourney24@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThis might be pointless but I also have The Monkee's cards(1966, I guess the back makes a picture of them),James Bond(1966, on back is a decode quiz question), some of The Beverly Hillbillies(? no date, on back is quotes from the episode), Gilligan's Island(?, on back is orange and black film pictures), Spook Stories(1961, on back is questions & answers or DAFFYnitions), and not sure what tv show or movie it was but the cards are both David McCallam and Robert Vaughn(1965, the back makes a picture of them). Any information would be helpful. Thanks
