Blow Out the Candles

Happy Birthday to Hall of Fame Cub, Ryne Sandberg. Ryno turns the big 5 0 today. I hope and expect that Ryno will succeed Lou Piniella as the Cubs manager. Lou is signed through next season so 2011 should be Ryne's first chance to lead the Cubs.

This is a picture I took of Ryno in his rookie year playing third base. I think the date was May 29, 1982.
