Autographed Baseball Cards A-Z

When I got back into collecting five or so years ago one of the things that excited me was the availability of autographed cards.  Perhaps I went a little overboard but I think I picked up some nice cards.  This will be an A-Z series of posts with varying numbers of cards.

2001 Fleer Greats of the Game (unnumbered)

Dick Allen was the 1964 NL Rookie of the Year, a 7 time All-Star and the 1972 AL MVP.  He also played in the first game I saw as a kid in 1969.

I've got to say he always looked great in red:

Happy Trails, Jim Edmonds

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with images -- click on any image to see it correctly.

Jim Edmonds announced his retirement yesterday.  He was only a Chicago Cub for half a season in 2008 but I quickly grew to appreciate him as a player and a man.  I wish him only the best.
These two cards were part of my semi-annual COMC shipment that I got around Christmastime:

 1997 Donruss Signature Series

These Donruss Signature Series cards tend to be bargains.  This one was just $3.25.  There's are a half dozen more on COMC right now for $3.75 from one seller.

 2002 Topps 10 #TTR-JE
I like relic cards where you can see the piece from both the front and back.  This one was just $2.00.

Random Certified Auto of the Day -- Hockey

I've never played hockey, not real hockey, but I have fond memories of hockey in the 60's and 70's. When I started collecting again I was drawn to the autographed cards of the stars I remember from that time. Here's one, Ed Giacomin, on the team I remember him from, the New York Rangers:
