Rags Not Riches

This is a really nice portrait of former Yankees pitcher  and longtime Giants pitching coach Dave "Rags" Righetti.  I may be preaching to the choir but to me it proves the point that a card's worth is not always measured in dollars and cents

Here's the card:

Random Pack Break -- 1990 Donruss Baseball

I just opened this pack of 1990 Donruss baseball cards.

As far as a junk wax era pack goes I'd have to say this was a pretty good one.  A Cubs fan could do a lot worse that Ryne Sandberg and Shawon Dunston.  The Gary Carter is classic.  Are those his real teeth?  I have mixed feelings about the backs.  I don't like orange.  I don't like the partial stats.  I do like the full names with nickname and the career highlights.  I like the red color scheme of the fronts though a team logo would have been nice.

Besides the three I mentioned there are more notable players, Hernandez, Palmiero (tainted), Wallach, Samuel, and Moyer.

Random Pack Break

OOOH, 1990 Donruss!

Nothing special here.

Or here.

A nice Wizard.
I like the red fronts but I'm not digging the orange backs.

The "Old Man" in just his fifth season

Dodger fav and current D-Backs skipper

"O'Terrell"?

Nice pic, Jack!
