My recent semi-annual shipment from COMC included a bunch of 1993 UD All-Time Heroes/B.A.T. cards. The 165 card set was based on the T-202 Hassan Triple Folders from 1909. I know the size is awkward (2-1/4 x 5-1/4) but maybe the fact that they're different is part of what makes them appealing to me.
Here's card #65, Dodger great Gil Hodges:
Here are the two Gil Hodges cards "virtually" separated:
I have this very card, along with a few other B.A.T. Dodgers. Right now they're stuffed into a page that is made to house 8x10 glossies. I'm sure there's a more appropriate page size out there, but that's all I have.
ReplyDeleteTopps did these for its T205 set as well (though with modern players). Awkward size indeed!
