Lou Boudreau 1948 World Series Commemorative Patch
I like patch cards in general but this one is particularly nice since it commemorates Lou's greatest achievement in baseball. In addition to managing the team to it's last World Series Championship, Lou also won the AL MVP as the team's shortstop.
Nice patch! I'm a fan of these too, manufactured or not, and I like the different milestones they pick. It sure has been a while for Cleveland, hasn't it?
I don't know if it was just a joke but Lou always used to say that his WGN contract included a stipulation that they show the video of the 1948 World Series at least once a season.
