Pitcher, broadcaster,  restaurateur and author Steve Stone is 64 today.

Steve's career totals are seen above.  He would not return for the 1982 season.

"I knew it would ruin my arm, but one year of 25-7 is worth five of 15-15."

 Steve spent 14 years paired with Harry Caray as a Cubs announcer.  They were great together.

Since 2009 "Stone Pony" has been in the White Sox booth with Ken "Hawk" Harrelson. 

Among Jewish pitchers Steve is third in wins and strikeouts behind Sandy Koufax and Ken Holtzman.  the Nationals Jason Marquis will most likely pass him in wins this year.
