Cubs pitcher, Ryan Dempster was at last Saturday's Loyola Ramblers game in Chicago. A portion of the ticket sales went to the Dempster Family Foundation which supports charities that help children with 22q11.2 deletion syndrome. Ryan's 18 month old daughter Riley was born with a a rare form of the disease.

At halftime Ryan put on a show as Jackie Moon from the Will Ferrell movie, Semi-Pro.
Great post! Ryan Dempster is awesome. He is one professional athlete who gets it. He's put down roots in Chicago, living there year round, and supports the community.
