Last Friday night between the 2nd and 3rd innings of the Cubs- Marlins game at Land Shark stadium the Marlins mascot Billy the Marlin paraded a billy goat in front of the Cubs' dugout. This was of course in reference to the infamous curse of 1945.
Our Lou didn't much care for the stunt,
"Tasteless. Every time we come here, they do some kind of gimmick. I don't know who thinks them up. I mean, when they come to Chicago, we don't fry marlin."
Mmmm, fried marlin...
