  1. I was surprised by the lack of attention Leonard' passing drew, especially in a year where so many famed musicians have passed on. It doesn't matter where I am or what I'm doing, whenever "Hallelujah" plays it always strikes a chord with me. It's a shame that the rest of his work gets overshadowed though.

    1. I would have posted something else but I think his own interpretation gets overshadowed by other "prettier" ones and I wanted to highlight that.

    Side note... I didn't realize that Cohen was the author of the iconic song.
    Side note #2... When I first saw this post, I thought Cohen was Dustin Hoffman.

    1. I don't think I knew he wrote it until I read the recent bio, "I'm Your Man" which was excellent. I see the Dustin Hoffman but I'd throw in half Anthony Bourdain.
