Do They Make Card Collecting Viagra?

Maybe it's because I'm getting old or maybe it's because my Cubs have been so dull the last few years but I'm just not getting excited about current baseball cards.  I did have fun with last year's Allen & Ginter's and I will buy a blaster again this summer.  In the meantime here are some highlights from a funky little 42 card art set put out by Historic Autographs Ltd last year.  They were included as a bonus in their high end one card autograph packs.  They're the size of 1933 Goudey's and a little on the thin side.  On my  22" monitor they're enlarged about nine times.  No logos but I think they're fun in an offbeat sort of way.

  1. Completely understand what you're going through. I picked up some vintage today online instead of heading out and getting the new Heritage stuff. The Cubs being so bad kind of takes away from collecting them. Hopefully we can turn it around here soon.

  3. I could use some Collecting Viagra. My issue isn't an interest in cards... it's the fact that I have too much stuff piling up on my desk and I'm too lazy to sort and scan stuff.

    BTW... love the Paige!
