A Cut Above Your Average Air-Brushed Card
While looking for another card I came across this air-brushed beauty.
The late Ken Brett, older brother of HOFer George, played for 10 teams in 14 years. Check out all the uniform #'s.

Sweet Lou Quote of the Day
The Cubs two biggest run producers are off to a slow start this season. Ramirez is hitting .155, Lee .221 (as of 5/3).
Said manager Lou Piniella: "Both those guys, you look at their bubble gum cards, they're going to hit. The sooner they hit … it makes it (easier) for the rest of the lineup. But the rest of the lineup is doing a nice job."
Let's look at their bubble gum cards and what Lou is getting at:
Aramis Ramirez's lifetime average is .286
Derrek Lee's is .284.
Assuming neither one is injured or suddenly "over the hill", things should get better.

Card of the Day
Here's a great shot of the Astro's Casey Candaele about to rob a Cub of an extra base hit (maybe).
