Nigue was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006.



Toronto Maple Leafs legend Tim Horton was born in Chochrane, Ontario on this date in 1930.

Tim died in a single car accident on February 21, 1974 at the age of 44.  The chain of donut shops referenced in the cartoon above went on to become Canada's largest fast food chain with over 3000 locations as of this year with another 500 in the US.
