Blow Out the Candles October 19

Former player and  broadcaster and current Florida Panthers GM Dale Tallon is celebrating his 62nd birthday today.
 1972-73 Topps #15

Hall of Fame pitcher Mordecai "Three Finger" Brown was born in Nyesville, Indiana on this date in 1876.

Mordecai's 188 wins puts him behind just Charlie Root for most wins by a Cubs pitcher.  His 48 shutouts is first all-time.

    1. Fantastic! I did love Tallon as a color guy. Pat Foley's great as well.

  2. Great vintage video with Tallon against the Leafs. I had never seen any action of Jacques Plante in a Leafs uni, so that was a great view.

    Thanks for sharing!

  3. Dale Tallon was my favorite Hawk growing up. He helped put together the Stanley Cup team of a couple years back and will always be remembered for that.
