When I got back into collecting five or so years ago one of the things that excited me was the availability of autographed cards.  Perhaps I went a little overboard but I think I picked up some nice cards.  This will be an A-Z series of posts with varying numbers of cards.

Doug played on some some pretty good Orioles and Angles teams in his 15 year career. This is a nice on-card signature from a great set.

Ryan Dempster is my favorite current Cub.  These two cards are from his time in the Marlins organization, first with the Charleston River Dogs, then with the parent team.  Though I'd rather he was pictured with the Cubs I do like these cards.

Do you consider the age of a signature when choosing a card to buy?  Does the fact that it's from the players early days give it more value to you?

Ryan's signature isn't the most legible but it does have flair.  It's not shy which goes with his personality.

Probably a silly question but do Red Sox fans still hate Bucky Dent now that they've won a couple of championships?  As far a his signature goes, the only thing I see that looks like BUCKY DENT is the final t.  Can anyone explain what I'm seeing?
